Welcome
Hi! My name is Lauren, and I am a high school junior. I created this website to serve as a digital portfolio and a personal website. I banished the corporate feel because I'm not in a office cubicle just yet, so creating something I will enjoy using only makes sense
I am an intermediate HTML & CSS developer. I embargained on my web development journey in March of 2026, with a goal of successfully creating a personal website. I not only did that, but created many more websites afterwards, including this one!
I plan to have exceptional Javascript and Python programming skills by January of next year! All Javascript code i've ever applied was copied through a tutorial or following a Hack Club Jam. That's cool and all since I always add my own touch, but I don't feel the gratification that I do when I code a HTML & CSS website without following a tutorial.

- 8.12.2026 | I added another section at the bottom with an aesthetically pleasing pixel gif. I matched the banner with the update log one. | I added a live military time clock and and weather widget

- 8.14.2026 | Added a water gif and a spinning dolphin. I updated the navigation buttons.

- 8.15.2026 | I made major progress on the project page! I added 5 of my completed summer web development projects and this website! Each video is playable, and there is a link to each website inside each box.

- 8.16-18.2026 | I added music that autoplays on the landing and projects page | I started and finished the About Me tab. It features a linktree to all my socials. Nested under is a musicplayer featuring my favorite songs from Olivia Rodrigo, Beabadoobee, KATSEYE, and Laufey. To the right of it, I talked a little bit about my involvement at my school. I finished adding the captions to all my projects on the projects page.I made the executive decision to halt my progress on this website as school starts up for me and I need to begin reviewing core things for my classes. I had fun creating this website and hope to continue working on it outside of Stardance.
